LAIBHAARI Had Super 2nd Weekend

'Laibhaari'' was expected to take box office by storm and film has exactly done the same. Film collected huge numbers in week one and with 17 cr nett plus, film was poised for record lifetime number if it can put up good 2nd week at box office.

Film was super b in week one almost in all the pockets and collected big 17.10 cr nett. Film was helped by wide screening and huge buzz surrounding Riteish Deshmukh. Though film did not get glowing reviews but still it managed to please masses.

Film has still good number of cinemas in 2nd week and with 414 cinemas in 2nd week and 10,420 shows film is poised for good 2nd week. Film collected 1.10 cr nett on 2nd Friday which was good but not great considering no. of screens.

Film jumped by 85% on Saturday and collected 1.90 cr nett. Film again jumped on Sunday and collected 2.50 cr nett. Film has collected 22.60 cr nett in 10 days and film collected 5.50 cr nett in 2nd weekend. Film should collect 10 cr nett in 2nd week.

Film should finish with 30 cr nett lifetime total at best which will be 3-4 cr nett short of biggest Marathi hit ''Timepass''. Still its a big success for Riteish Deshmukh. Film can go close to 32-34 cr nett life timenumber if it can trend in big way from 3rd week onwards.

Movie Calender: Hate Story 2, Pizza 3D, Amit Sahni Ki List and others this Friday

Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania gave very good week to Boxoffice and proved itself to be a Super Hit. This week is rather going to be very lukewarm as none of the film is likely to create much impact. All eyes will be on 25th July release Kick. Surveen Chawla & Jay Bhanushali starrer Hate Story 2 has highest buzz among all and has better chances then other films. HS2 is the sequel to critically acclaimed thriller Hate Story. Pizza 3D stars Akshay Oberoi, Parvathy Omanakuttan, Dipannita Sharma & Arundoy Singh. Backed by UTV the film is set to release this Friday. Vir Das's Amit Sahni Ki List will also try its luck along with these releases. The film has little chances and will depend on appreciation by public. Bazaar-E-Husn & Riyasat are unlikely to get any visibility.

Boing MH17 Malaysia Airlines plane 'shot down' over Ukraine, 295 feared dead

Kuala Lumpur/Kiev: All 295 people on board a Malaysia Airlines plane were feared dead on Thursday after the aircraft was reportedly shot down over war-torn eastern Ukraine near the Russian border, nearly four months after the mysterious disappearance of MH370 in the Indian Ocean. The Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 was flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur carrying 280 passengers and 15 crew. The passenger liner came down close to the town of Shaktarsk in Ukraine's rebellion-wracked region of Donetsk after disappearing from the radar and teams from the emergency services were trying to reach the scene, Russian media quoted an unnamed security source as saying. Malaysia Airlines confirmed on Twitter, "Malaysian Airlines has lost contact of MH17 from Amsterdam. The last known position of the plane was over Ukrainian airspace".
